The inherent force that convinces you to keep going on the path you initially began, which more often than not, causes you to tread the same road knowing this is or may eventually disregard success, safety, happiness even and which, at rare times, leads you to achieve huge feats in your life that could have been discarded by the rational mind judging immediate suffering as a form or eternal misery.
Inertia, a beautiful word with an interesting physical and philosophical meaning came to my mind on a day when everything seemed to be in a state of disorder (complete chaos) and I, being ‘forced’ to (quite reassuringly) tumble down the slippery road to reach the end of a messy day.
Inertia that day, unlike most other days, chose to be the dominant force that made me sit through conversations I did not want to be a part of, experiments I did not want to be doing, experience lovely weather I did not want to enjoy.
Is Inertia then, an unbeatable force that takes over your conscious when you are at your emotional-physiological high? (rather low) Is life then, all about us competing against this inherent force ? (Or) To used it to advantage and achieve everything you think you can achieve?
